Utilizing the contrast between the rigid structure of 3D-printed nylon and the soft tactility of food-grade silicone, the piece explores the profound relationship between resilience and fragility through interlaced folds and smooth surfaces. Using the texture of life as a metaphor, it depicts the reshaping of emotion, pain, and identity under external pressures. The work invites the audience to reconsider how the "self," formed within societal contexts, coexists with and contends against reality, finding personal answers within the dialectic of strength and shadow.
